Bronwyn Lewis
Melbourne based artist creating earthenware and bronze sculptures.
The sculptures celebrate ocean and land animals.
Bronwyn has a Bachelor of Fine Art (Melbourne University) and has been practicing sculpture for decades exhibiting widely in Victoria selling works all over Australia.
Bronwyn’s work explores colour, shape and the ‘animal emotion’ narrative interplay within these human-like creatures. The sculptures act as metaphors or mirrors of the human experience. The creatures may be quirky, powerful, tragic, endearing, humorous and loveable.
